We recognize that dealing with dental insurance can be a major challenge for all dental offices. This challenge occurs on many levels. The reality is that patients know very little about their dental insurance and often times they assume that dental insurance is just like their medical insurance and they expect it to pay much more than it actually does. A very common question that many patients ask after they receive a treatment recommendation goes like this; ‘Does my insurance cover it?’ This is a very fair question, yet it is hardly a simplistic answer given the many different types of insurance plans on the market today.
