Let’s Celebrate the Freedom of Choice!

Let’s Celebrate the Freedom of Choice!

With proper respect to all the international readers of this blog, I happen to believe that I live in the greatest country in the world!

The United States of America is a great country because of the many freedoms we enjoy. My grandparents came to this country to create a new life and I will be forever grateful that they made the sacrifices to come here and start life anew. It wasn’t easy, but my Grandfather and Grandmother forged a future for their family beginning with little more than the clothes on their backs.

As my good friend, Dr. Dan Fischer likes to say, “I am a lucky man!” Just as Dan considers himself a very lucky man, so do I! I won the ‘gene pool lottery’ when I was born to two people who were the ultimate example of a loving couple. Our home was filled with love, support and the concept that hard work would carry you to any level of success that you could dream. My brothers and I were also blessed with the model of two parents whose love for each other never faltered. I am indeed a very lucky man!

One of the things that make our country so great is the freedom of choice. Let’s take this opportunity to remind our patients that the freedom to choose the dentist of their choice is very precious and they should fight to maintain that freedom. Let your patients know that if their employer is considering making changes that would limit their choice of dentists they should speak up and let their employer know they value to right to visit a dentist of their choice. Dental care is a very personal service and patients deserve the right to visit the dentist of their choice!

As we celebrate the birthday of our country, I’d also like to recognize the sacrifices that the men and women who currently serve and have served in our Armed Forces for their devotion to our freedom. THANK YOU. Keep Smiling!
