Dental assistants are often the glue that binds the practice together. Often dental assistants spend more time than any other team member in the dentist office. They are responsible for keeping track of patients and appointments, dealing with sales reps, ordering office supplies, assisting the doctor, and a list of miscellaneous tasks, yet due recognition has so far eluded them.
In today’s episode, Gary speaks to Tija Hunter, an office manager and a dental assistant with over 32 years of experience. She holds 11 advanced certifications including being certified as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA).
