The American Dental Association recently released a study on the financial success of Dentists. Among other findings, this study concluded that the average retirement age for a dentist is 67, which seems reasonable until you compare it with the retirement age of the average American, which according to Gallup is 62. This seems especially perplexing given that the typical Dentist’s income is much higher than the average American.
